On My Radar....
Due to my lack of money, I have mostly stayed away from malls and such, not wishing to expose myself to things I cannot hope to own. Yet certain essential items have crept up on my radar, so I have compiled a list of little things that I want to buy.
#1 jersey wrap dress- stretchy and comfy, stylish and chic, I would not mind acquiring one of these. I love how you can wear this on a plane where it doubles as a pj, but still look fabulous and put those sweat pant wearers to shame. Since it doesn't wrinkle, it's perfect for throwing in a carry on, and the dress' universality ensures that wearing it in a foreign city doesn't brand you as a bumbling tourist. I really like the ones from Boden, which often come in fun patterns instead of basic black (though I'm not dissing that slimming color).
#2 boyfriend jeans- For some odd reason, I really enjoy wearing other people's clothes (just ask my poor family), so the concept of boyfriend jeans naturally intrigued me. These look cute, but laid back and absolutely adorable with feminine flats or strapy sandals. The picture below was found on the blog the Sartorialist and taken in London.
#3 black boots- I can't get over the cozy yet chic appeal of wearing simple black boots with a nice dress and black tights or leggings. Modest, warm, and stylish.
